Straightforward answers to your insurance questions
Insurance can come with plenty of questions. We’ve answered some of the most common ones below to help you understand how working with an insurance broker works, what you can expect from Argyle and how we’re here to support you.
Why should I use an insurance broker?
Insurance can be complicated, and not all policies are created equal. A broker takes the time to understand your business, identifies the risks you face and helps find insurance that suits your needs. We also act as your advocate when you need us – particularly when it comes to claims.
Why choose Argyle Insurance Brokers?
At Argyle, insurance is personal. You'll deal directly with an experienced broker who takes the time to understand you and your business. We combine experience, relationships and access to a wide range of insurance markets with straightforward, practical advice. Our focus is simple – good advice, great service and a long-term relationship you can rely on.
How does Argyle get paid, and will using a broker cost me more?
We are generally paid through commission from the insurer and, where applicable, a broker fee for the advice and service we provide. We'll always be transparent about how we're paid. Using a broker isn't just about finding a competitive premium – it's about making sure you have the right cover, understand what you're buying and have someone in your corner when you need to use it.
What happens when I need to make a claim?
That's when having a broker really matters. Contact us as soon as something happens and we'll help you through the claims process, liaise with the insurer and advocate on your behalf. We'll stay involved through to resolution, so you're not left dealing with the insurer on your own.
